Happy National Doughnut Day! I don’t know about you, but the girls and I LOVE doughnuts. So I promised them a trip to Dunkin’ at the end of this week and had no idea we’d end up there on National Doughnut Day!
National Doughnut Day
I wondered why there was a dancing doughnut on the side of the road… I googled it while we were in line and sure enough, June 6, 2020, is National Doughnut Day! It made them taste even better 😉
Did I mention the girls love doughnuts? So much so that we had a doughnut-themed party for Ellie Claire’s 3rd birthday.
This was one of my favorite parties I’ve done so far! It was the cutest and she loved it so much.
Doughnut Birthday Party
It’s hard to believe this was almost three years ago! Happy third birthday, EC!
There was massive excitement when I found doughnut wrapping paper at TJ Maxx, and I designed the party around that!
Also, I was shocked I found pants for her that almost matched it identically.
The cake stands are from Home Goods and I swapped out the ribbon for my color of choice. They originally came with black ribbon.
Coffee and doughnuts go hand in hand, with Dunkin’ Donuts creamer to top it off.
I am known for wrapping every inch of the house ( or hotel room… yes, I transformed a hotel room for a destination birthday one year) in wrapping paper for parties. I mean, how cute?!
Teaching myself how to print and cut on my Silhouette machine took all night but how cute are these cups with her face on them?
I ordered her doughnuts from Publix. They iced them and I dropped off the heart and brown sprinkles for them to add to stay with the theme.
No birthday cake this year! She wanted a doughnut tower instead!
Inflatables for photo props and to play on.
What’s your favorite party you’ve ever thrown for your kids?
