Every Day is Darling is a lifestyle blog that was created to share my love for fashion, beauty & life as a mom. I love making life FUN & try to inspire other women through my creative ideas & style. Here you will see everything from fashion to parties & fun for kids– but also, all of the same & more for YOU!
I never wanted to be a page that shared strictly fashion or strictly motherhood. I believe being the best mom is investing not only in your children but also, in YOURSELF. Here you will find inspiration for the little darlings in your life, but also, ways to make your life as a mom, wife, or lady a little more darling as well.
Who I Am
I’m a lover of strong coffee (check my current starbucks order!), all things beauty, shopping, traveling, sweets & celebrating.
We make holidays, milestones, and, quite frankly, a random Tuesday special over here. You don’t have to ask me twice to break out a charcuterie board, some pretty cocktail napkins & a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate another Tuesday in the books!
Over the last year, I have transitioned from working my full-time job at my family business to working full time for myself. It has been an exciting but equally SCARY change, but I am so grateful to be on this journey and being able to do this full-time!
In-ex-tro-vert – It’s a Thing
I’m the daughter of an extrovert & an introvert, making me an “in-ex-tro-vert”? Lol. I embody qualities of both, but at first, I can be more on the introverted side. However, once we get to know each other, you get the REAL Kristen & there’s almost nothing I keep to myself. If it crosses my brain, it’s coming out—and I can’t promise it will always be appropriate LOL My kids miiiiight have heard a cuss word or two in their life. Listen, Karen, we all can’t be perfect.
I used to be extremely self-conscious and concerned about people’s opinions of me, however, as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that people’s opinions of you are actually, quite literally, not your problem. Read that again.
It is the most freeing mindset to be in if you can just get there. It’s one of those easier said-than-done situations (because I think we as women are made to inevitably have some level of this in us) but being able to do so will improve your quality of life and make it easier to just simply live free.
Sometimes, you stop truly living if you spend so much time caring about what other people think. Talking to my phone with a big audience on the other side of the screen (via Instagram stories) has helped me on the journey to this mindset.
It’s a big step to literally put your life out to the public—and personal blogs are just that. While I’ve seen myself able to piss someone off just by opening my mouth, I’ve also seen triple the amount of people be inspired by what I have to offer. So, all of that to say, you do you, sister, and don’t worry about the minority group that wants to see you fail.
If their opinions get in your way, then they win. If you do you and know that your worth does not come from others’ opinions, you win. Simple as that ????
My Husband
My husband, Andrew, also plays a big part in EDID. He is the ultimate girl dad & embraces life living in a sea of estrogen. His role next to husband & daddy is the chef of Casa de Darling. Andrew (you’ll also hear him referred to as Lucille or Mr. Darling) enjoys cooking and does so not only because it brings him joy, but also because I do not LOL.
I love to bake and make things beautiful, but as far as the actual preparation of the food… count me out. He actually prefers I stay out of the kitchen LOL He prepares the food & I present the food. He can bust out some five-star yumminess & I can bust out some killer presentation.
Like this, we’re good at balancing each other out in every aspect of life. We are complete opposites, but together we make one hell of a team. We have been through many highs and many lows in our last 10 years together, but ultimately know we are better together and stick to the vows we made on March 8, 2014—until death does us part.
My Girls
Our three most beautiful & precious gifts are our daughters, Ellie Claire, Annabelle, & Lynlee Lane. I have wanted to be a mom ever since I can remember and become just that with all three girls has been a dream come true. I love getting to share them with my followers because they are truly the best part of me.
All my girls came to work with me from about eight weeks to fifteen-ish months while I worked for my family business. After each one got to that point, we started part-time daycare and then went on to a big girl school.
Little Lynlee is now in daycare and the big girls are home with us during the summers. I am immensely grateful I had that job and the ability to have flexibility so that I didn’t miss a single moment of my kids’ lives. I am oh so thankful that I was able to be with my kids while also investing in my family business.
That being said, “one day turn this blog into my full-time job” finally became a reality and I am able to put my entire focus into the content I produce!

Ultimately, Every Day Is Darling is a place for me to share my life with you & my hope is that you are inspired along the way. Some days you may get a recipe. Some days you may get a sale alert. Some days you may get some makeup inspiration.
However, every day you will board the Hot Mess Express with me. Every Day is Darling, but not without a side of what the hell is happening. LOL. Some days we may be self-tanning together, some days we may be online shopping together and some days we may be simply momming the shit out of life together. I can’t wait to have you along for the ride!!!
